Landford is the most south eastern village Wiltshire, in the northern tip of the New Forest National Park, east of  Redlynch.
Landford parish extends to the Hampshire border, with Hale to the west, Bramshaw to the south, and  Copythorne to the east.
The hamlet of Plaitford is in the north east of the parish, but is administered as a combined parish with Melchet Park in Hampshire.
The A36 takes road traffic through the north of the parish, between  Alderbury to  Southampton in the south east.
North of the A36, the next Wiltshire parish is  Whiteparish.
