Beattock is a village on the River Annan, 2 miles south of Moffat on the A701, now by-passed by the M74.  The Southern Uplands Way passes through the village between Wintercleuch Fell in the west, across Annandale to Capel Fell and Loch Fell to the east.  This category represents sites for locations northwest, up the valley to Beattock Summit, and the boundary with South Lanarkshire.
