The Township of Lake of Bays is located in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, east of Huntsville and west of Algonquin Park. It is accessed by Highways 117, 35 and 60.
The Township consists of the villages of Baysville, Dorset, Dwight and Hillside. Baysville, Dorset and Dwight are on the shores of Lake of Bays, while Hillside is on the shore of Peninsula Lake. As well, within the municipal boundaries there are a number of smaller lakes such as Walker Lake, Oxbow Lake and Bella Lake.
