South Beach is located on the south side of the Yaquina Bay. The Yaquina Bay Bridge (Highway 101) connects South Beach on the south end with Newport on the north end. South Beach is known for its marina, Aquarium Village shops, and both the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Aquarium are accessed through South Beach.
