Alburg is a town located in Grand Isle County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,952. The town is a point or tongue of land, extending from Canada, about 10 miles south, into Lake Champlain; being washed by the waters of Missisco bay, on the east, and by those of the main channel of the Lake, on the west, and is about 6 miles in width on the Province line.
