Sunrise was a company town founded in 1899 by the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company (CF&I) adjacent to an iron ore mine which remained in operation until 1984. The site is now on the National Historic Register of Historic Places. It is located in Platte County in southeastern Wyoming.
