NASCAR is the acronym for the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. NASCAR is a privately held company based in Daytona, Florida and the official sanctioning body for the well-known Nextel Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck Series. In addition, NASCAR also offers Weekly and Touring Series stock car racing events.
NASCAR is the fastest-growing spectator sport in the United States and sanctioned events are held from February through November of each year.
