Born into wealth in 1944 in New York City, Jill Clayburgh was educated at the finest schools including Sarah Lawrence College. She went on to pursue a career in films and is perhaps best known for her work in "An Unmarried Woman" (1978) and "Starting Over" (1979) for which she received "Best Actress in a Leading Role" nominations.
