The rural municipality of Torgu (Estonian: torgu vald) is located west of Kuressaare and covers the southern half of Sõrve Peninsula. It has a total area of approximately 126 square kilometers and around 400 inhabitants.
Torgu rural municipality consists of 22 villages (Estonian: külad): Hänga, Iide, Jämaja, Kaavi, Kargi, Karuste, Kaunispe, Laadla, Lindmetsa, Lõupõllu, Läbara, Lülle, Maantee, Mõisaküla, Mõntu, Mäebe, Mässa, Ohessaare, Soodevahe, Sääre, Tammuna, and Türju.
