- Askerswell is a village and West Dorset parish, north of the A35 road between Bridport and Dorchester,
- immediately east of Uploders represented by the Loders category.
- Chilcombe is directly south of the A35, where websites are listed in the Litton Cheney category.
- Askerswell village is at the confluence of streams from the surrounding chalk downs, from which the River Asker
- flows west through Loders and Bradpole, before joining the River Brit, west of Bothampton in Bridport.
- Shipton Gorge is to the south west.
- A minor road leads via Spyway north east to Eggardon Hill, where Nettlecombe is in Powerstock parish to
- the north west, and Toller Porcorum parish further north east.
