Alderbury is a village in the south of Wiltshire, bypassed by the A36, taking road traffic
from  Salisbury in the north east, to  Southampton in the south east.
The A36 also bypasses the hamlet of Shute End immediately north west of Alderbury village,
and the village of Whaddon, immediately south east.
The parish of Clarendon Park is directly north, represented by  Pitton further north west.
The western parish boundary is the River Avon,  Odstock to the east is only approached
via  Downton directly south.   Whiteparish is directly east.
