- Alderbury is a village in the south of Wiltshire, bypassed by the A36, taking road traffic
- from Salisbury in the north east, to Southampton in the south east.
- The A36 also bypasses the hamlet of Shute End immediately north west of Alderbury village,
- and the village of Whaddon, immediately south east.
- The parish of Clarendon Park is directly north, represented by Pitton further north west.
- The western parish boundary is the River Avon, Odstock to the east is only approached
- via Downton directly south. Whiteparish is directly east.
