This category represents the parish of Monkton Farleigh, which is north west of  Bradford-on-Avon on the
A363 road, on the unitary authority boundary with  Bath & NES at  Claverton, south of  Bathford.
The parish is north of  Winsley high above the east of the River Avon, under which the Bath stone
has been mined, and served as a World War 2 Ministry of Defence underground ammunition store.
Besides Monkton Farleigh village north of the A363, the hamlets of Farleigh Wick and Pinckney Green are on the A363.
Kingsdown is north of the parish boundary in  Box parish.
South Wraxall is to the east.
