- North Wraxall is a village just north of the A420, and Upper Wraxall is the
- last hamlet before the boundary, with The Shoe on the A420 before that.
- Mountain Bower is on the north west boundary with Nettleton.
- Ford in on the A420 at the eastern boundary with Castle Combe to the north east,
- and Biddestone to the south east.
- Colerne is the parish on the western boundary with Marshfield to the south.
- Note: South Wraxall is a separate parish, which with the hamlet of Lower Wraxall is represented by Monkton Farleigh.
- Besides Wiltshire, the name Wraxall is shared with parishes in Dorset and Somerset, having derived from the Saxon: "nook of land frequented by the buzzard or other bird of prey".
