Steeple Langford is a village between the A36 and the River Wyle, west of the intersection with the A303
in the parish of Wylye, and east of Stapleford parish, both of which this category also represents.
South of Stapleford the A36 heads south through  South Newton parish, north of  Wilton.
Hanging Langford connected by a minor road south of the Nadder, is within Steeple Langford parish,
along with Little Langford to its east, and the parish extends south, up the downs,
where the remains of Grim's Ditch form the southern boundary with  Dinton parish.
