Acushnet is a town located in Bristol County, Massachusetts. It was incorporated as a town in 1860.
Originally an agricultural community, it has also been home to various industries. It is the original home of the Titleist golf ball.

The town is located in southeastern Massachusetts, bordered by Freetown on the north, Rochester and Mattapoisett on the east, Fairhaven on the south and New Bedford on the west. Its total land area is 18.92 square miles, and population is approximately 10,000.
