Indie filmmakers are loosely defined as professional-level filmmakers who film their own original work.

They can be either fan sites or personal sites belonging to the filmmakers. For the purposes of this category, a "filmmaker" is considered to be a single person who takes on the key roles in creating their film or video: for example an auteur is a producer, director and cinematographer all in one. For people whose role in production is less broad, please see other subcategories of Arts: Movies: Filmmaking: People.

Titles

For the purposes of this category, independent films are films which have been produced using professional equipment and media, with serious artistic or technical intent, but which have not been widely released. For example, film school final projects that have won awards, film festival films, and the spare-time projects of professional film personnel.
This category contains sites about individual independent film titles. This includes production sites, fan sites, reviews and any other site pertaining to a specific independent film. For amateur films (films produced on no budget, using consumer camcorders 8mm or other non professional media, or produced by kids) please submit to Arts: Movies: Filmmaking: Amateur: Titles.
