Atonality

Composers who compose atonal music, which is defined by the "Oxford Companion to Music" as music with the absence of a key. Schonberg was one of the first composers to do this.

Minimalism

Minimalism has also been called repetitive music, mediative music, and process music. It was developed in the 1960's primarily in America and during the 1970's became successful in Europe as well.
