Dean Stockwell was born in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on March 5, 1936, and died of natural causes on November 7, 2021, aged 85.

Stockwell was a child actor in movies dating back to 1945, when he was 9 years old. He was perhaps best known for his role in "The Secret Garden".

As an adult, he was more active in TV, where two of his most well-known roles were in "Quantum Leap" and "Battlestar Galactica".

He had two children; a son born in 1983 and a daughter in 1985.
