Lighter than air craft are those aircraft for which lift is principally generated by enclosing a large volume of gas that is lighter than the surrounding air. This includes aerostats, airships, balloons (sealed and hot air), blimps, dirigibles and Zeppelins.

This category will only list manufacturers of lighter than air craft.

Owners and operators of advertising blimps or airships should submit their sites to the Advertising category.

Owners and operators of airships and blimps used for photography should submit their sites to an appropriate regional category in the Aerial Photography section.
