Contract Manufacturing

This category is for companies whose primary focus is the production of electronics equipment and components on a contract basis, from prototype to production quantities. Some examples of sites accepted are OEM computer manufacturers, makers of custom LCDs, and companies that offer a combination of PCB assembly and chassis manufacturing. This category is not intended for companies which primarily offer standard or off-the-shelf product lines, or who only offer design services.

This category will list manufacturers of devices and parts which are electrical/electronic and mechanical in nature.

This category is for businesses specifically involved in the repair and service of electronics equipment and systems offering services nationally or internationally. Local or regional repair facilities should not be located here, but should instead be submitted to the appropriate Regional category of the directory. Manufacturers and distributors should not be listed here, but in a category appropriate to their primary business instead.

Safety and Compliance Testing

This category contains sites from companies that list products that deal with safety and compliance testing. Such as UL, or CE testing, including EMI and ECM emissions testing. This category also lists consultants for compliance testing.

Standards and Codes

This category will list the URLs that describe Business operating standards and Codes as well as the companies that provide services to implement and/or maintain these standards and codes. Examples of standards are the ISO standards and an example of codes are Building, Construction and Fire codes.

Test and Measurement

The "Test and Measurement" category includes listings for manufacturers and distributors of test and measuring instruments, whose main product line or service consists of such things as electrical calibrators, references, standards, sources, insulation resistance testers and megohmmeters, function generators, analog and digital multimeters, signal generators, pulse generators, magnetic test equipment, electro-optical measurement products, time domain reflectometers, radio test sets, speaker testers and/or spectrum analyzers.

This category contains web sites of companies that sell, rent, lease or manufacture test and measurement equipment that will measure or produce an electrical quantity or signal that can be used for testing electrical or electronics equipment.

These products do not measure light, fat content, chemical composition, flow rate, amount of bubbles, weight or any other quantity other than electrical.

Wiring and Accessories

Manufacturers and distributors of wire and cable for electrical both low and high power signal and power transmission, insulation and heat shrink materials, power cords, wire identification and labeling systems and tools, cable ties, and wire and cable harnesses.
