Cyber Pets - also known as Cyberpets, Clip Art Pets, and Graphics Pets - are a specific type of virtual pet typically utilizing static or animated images which are placed on an adopter's site, forum signature, or managed through the adoption site. Cyber Pets often have names, ages, and/or stories associated with each one. Adoptable Cyber Pets may be available as created, or some are offered with customization options. Ordinarily these do not require day-to-day care, however adopters may create personalities and write stories about their adopted pets, or pets may require levelling. From basic click-and-take adoptions to more detailed registration and personalizing, Cyber Pet adoption styles vary widely, however nearly all have rules.

Most sites require that you have a web page on which to place your adoptions.

Sites offering dragon graphics for adoption should be submitted to this category. This includes growing and non-growing dragons, click-and-takes, and application/form adoptions.
