Psion was a designer and manufacturer of mobile/handheld computers. Formed in 1980, its first successes were the revolutionary Psion Organiser and other Personal Digital Assistants. Psion also developed operating systems for its devices. Later Psion decided to close, or dispose of, its previous projects and focus on rugged mobile computing solutions.
Psion was one of the founders of Symbian Ltd. in 1998.
