They often have other features other that just the ability to play, such as making playlists, graphic equalizer, plugins (for both audio and graphic effects), and skins to name a few. Each player will have a different combination of these features so make sure you check out what they have before downloading.
Please submit only software programs for playing MP3s (i.e. not hardware: portable players or car audio systems). Audio mixing programs (DJ style) are also acceptable, as long as they use the MP3 format.
