Please only submit sites which are solely related to downloadable IRC client software. Please do not submit sites which have "online Java clients" they belong in the Chat/Java cat.

ONLY quality sites will be accepted, review your site design - huge font? Annoying flashy design? Might want to think about redesigning before submission.

DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.

Dynamic DNS

Dynamic DNS Client Programs are required for users to take advantage of Dynamic DNS Services. In a nutshell, they monitor the computer's IP address for change - and once a change is detected, they send the new IP address to the Dynamic DNS Provider so the DNS entries may be updated.

File Sharing

Sites that directly promote illegal file sharing will not be considered.

LDAP

Sites related to Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) client software.

Mail

Computer applications for reading, handling, and/or sending electronic mail.
Please only submit web sites offering webmail server software, for purchase and/or download.

Push

An Internet "push" client is software that receives information that some server sends out, or broadcasts. This is similar to the way a radio or television receives programs or channels, and often "push" information is called "channels". This is different from, for example, a Web browser, which "pulls", or only receives the specific web pages or other data that the user requests.

RTSP stands for Real Time Streaming Protocol.

SeaMonkey

This category is about Mozilla, and all that goes with it. Mozilla is today more than just a browser. It's a community, it's a component for embedding software, it's a stable source of discussions regarding standards compatibility set by standards bodies like the W3C.
