People with Acquired Immune Disease syndrome already have compromised immune systems, which make them more vulnerable to developing certain types of cancer. AIDS related cancers include Kaposi's sarcoma which is a cancer that affects cells below the skin or in the mucous membrane lining of the mouth, nose, and anus; Lymphoma, particularly Non-Hodgkins disease which is associated with the lymphatic system (part of the immune system).
Submit sites that are only AIDS related cancer sites.
Cancer found in the tissues under the skin or mucous membranes that line the mouth, nose, and anus. Kaposi's sarcoma was considered a rare disease until the AIDS epidemic in 1980's.
