Home Recording

Home Recording is the art and science of audio engineering in the simplified setting of one's own home. While some enthusiasts have well equipped studios in their own homes, others have only a 4 track tape recorder, a microphone, and a passion to create sound.
This category lists sites aimed at hobbyists making original recordings in a home studio.

It does not include equipment manufacturers, software companies, band/artist sites, or professional studios. Nor does it include sites about the copying of a record from one medium to another - ''home taping''. All such sites belong elsewhere in the directory:
