This area of the Open Directory is for sites about domestic bred birds, mostly kept as pets, written in English. Sites about wild birds can be found in the Recreation/Outdoors/Wildlife/Birds area, and sites about landfowl and waterfowl are found in Science/Agriculture/Animals/Birds/Poultry, and Home/Rural_Living/Hobby_Farms/Poultry. If the site is not in English then please look in World for the proper language and submit the site in there instead.

Please submit only sites in English about domestic bred bird species which are mostly kept as pets, such as parrots, pigeons, finches, doves and the like.

Please also go through the subcategories and select the most appropriate category to submit your site to, and submit your site ONCE. Sites with only one page with little or no information and/or under construction sites or multiple subpages from the same site will NOT be listed.

Chats and Forums

Containing clubs and organizations aiming towards all the pet bird species. If a club is more specialized towards any of the species those are listed in the species specific categories. Look under Recreation/Pets/Birds/Species for those.

This category is collecting all the species related sites, also the specialized clubs and organizations, and breeders. To find one of the species you can also look in the alpha bar for the common names used or scientific names with direct links to the categories in question. No sites are added in these alpha bar categories, these are only used for direct links to the species specific subcategories. Check the subcategories too and then select ONE of them that fits best for your submission.

Please submit only sites for breeders of multiple species of pet birds. Breeders of parrot species are listed in the parrot breeders'' category. Breeders specializing in one of the bird species are listed in the species specific categories instead of here.

When submitting your site, please use your aviary, company, or business name as the title of the site.
