Scouting is a worldwide movement. The purpose of this category is to list general scouting information pertinent to a particular country or that serve a part of the global community of scouting. The sub-categories relate to geographic areas and then to countries.
Please do not submit sites directly to this level of the category. International Organizations and Council or Group sites are to be listed in Organizations. Please check that sub-category for your association.

Please submit regional organizations to the appropriate geographic region. Scouting sites related to scouting in a particular country are to be submitted to the appropriate country category. If a country sub-category does not exist submit sites of that country to the next appropriate larger geographic sub-category. Sites related to specific topics such as Resources, Campsites, Collectibles etc. should be listed under the proper category. Scouting sites that do not have any other appropriate place for listing in the Directory may be listed under the relevant country or geographic sub-category of this category.

Scouting, including Boy Scouting, Girl Scouting and Girl Guides spread throughout Europe very soon after Sir Robert Baden-Powell's publication of Scouting for Boys.

Scouting in Eastern Europe has made significant progress and has been re-established and is growing everywhere. Scouting organization takes on many forms in Europe while subscribing to the basic principles including the Scout Motto, Law, Promise and Slogan.

The Europe category is for European scouting organizations.

If the site is mainly of topical interest or program interest it should be listed under the appropriate heading. Each European country is listed. A similar instruction is found under each country.

The sites must be in English or have English content, otherwise the sites should be listed under the appropriate language grouping of World. Suggestions may also be made and duplicated in the Regional/Europe/(Country) category.

This category is for web pages relating to Scouting in Middle Eastern countries.
Submit sites from Cypriot groups or about Cypriot scouting in English. Sites in Greek or Turkish languages are to be listed under World category, an exception being made for official national sites.
This category is for web pages relating to Scouting in North American countries.
Before making your submission please review the topical sub-categories. Submit your site to this category only if it does not fit in any of the subject or topic categories of Recreation/Scouting.
