A village with 3830 inhabitants (2001). It's situated in the Liptov region in nature reservation "Sliacanske travertine" with mofet springs. Village arise from three settlements. Two settlements- Nizny Sliac and Stredny Sliac was found in 13. century and the first reliable documentary support is from 1251 within government king Bela IV.
