Government

Since April 2009, the county of Cornwall is administered as a unitary authority, with its politics derived: from the other Celtic nations, like Wales, but without its own devolved Assemby status.
The county is represented at UK Government level by Members of Parliament for six constituents:
Camborne & Redruth,
North Cornwall
South East Cornwall,
St Austell & Newquay,
St Ives (including Silly),
Truro & Falmouth

Before the 2009 Cornwall Council with its headquarters in Truro, there were five districts:: Penwith, Kerrier, Carrick, Caradon and North Cornwall, and; the Restormel Borough, all now redundant.
