Herefordshire is a county in the West Midlands of England, on the border of Wales to the west.
Formerly, it was part of 'Hereford and Worcestershire', but that county was split in 1998.
The western part (comprising Leominster District, South Herefordshire District, Hereford City, and part
of the old Malvern Hills District) is now under the control of Herefordshire Council Unitary Authority.

Aston Ingham is a village and parish on Herefordshire's south east boundary with the Forest of Dean district
of Gloucestershire at  Newent, and about 7 miles east of   Ross-on-Wye.
Gorsley is to the north,  Linton is to the west, and  Lea is to the south west.
Bishop's Frome is a village and parish in east Herefordshire, north of the A4103, between  Eggleton
in the west and Cradley to the east.

The parish of Newton is to the north west, whose eastern boundary is the River Lugg, upstream with the
combined parish of Ford and Stoke Prior, directly north of Bodenham.

Bosbury is a village and parish in east Herefordshire, south of the A4103, between  Stretton Grandison
to the west and Cradley to the north east.

Byton is a village and parish, separated from the Welsh border by Combe south of the River Lugg.
Combe Moor, aka Coombes Moor, is a linear hamlet along the B4362 to  Presteigne.
The area of Herefordshire north of Presteigne, Kinsham north and west, is represented by the  Lingen category.
The area of Herefordshire south of Presteigne, Rodd Hurst south and west, is represented by the  Titley category.
The parish of Staunton on Arrow is directly south, Shobden to the south east along the B4362,

Colwall is a parish bordering on Worcestershire at  Malvern_Wells.
Upper Colwall and Upper Wyche are immediately on the boundary, with the
main conurbation being along the B4218 at Colwall Stone.

The Herefordshire parish Craswall is to the south of  Cusop on the border of Wales south east of  Hay-on-Wye
The western boundary is the Black Mountains' ridge separating Llanidon on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The parish is rich in springs and waterfalls that feed the River Monnow to the south east, where it is joined by Olchon Brook in Llanveynor parish, directly south before the border with Monmouthshire north of  Abergavenny.

Huntington is a parish on the west Herefordshire boundary with Wales at  Gladestry.

Lea

Lea is a village in Herefordshire, UK. It is located on the A40, about four miles south-east of Ross-on-Wye, close to the border with Gloucestershire.

Ledbury is a market town served by the A449 as it enters Herefordshire from Worcestershire via  Malvern Wells,
Little Mavern and  Welland from the east.
The A417 serves Ledbury from the south east, with junction 2 of the M50 at  Redmarley D'Abitot in the
Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, passes through the parish of Bromesberrow before
the Herefordshire boundary with Donnington immediately south of Ledbury.

This category represents the village and parish of Leintwardine in Herefordshir on the boundary
with Shropshire where the River Clun from Clungunford joins the River Teme.
North of the village of Leintwardine, the parish is on both banks of the Teme, and
extends north east over 300 metres above sea level, to Onbury also in Shropshire.
The River Onny flows from  Craven Arms southwards through Bromfield where it joins the River Teme, east

Llangrove is a village in Herefordshire, UK. It is located about eight miles south-west of Ross-on-Wye, and bout four miles north of Monmouth.

Pembridge is a village in Herefordshire, UK. It is situated on the banks of the River Arrow, about seven miles west of Leominster.

Peterchurch is a village in Peterchurch parish directly south of  Dorstone in the River Dore's Golden Valley,
south of Blakemere, west of Tyberton as the Dore flows south east between Vowchurch and Turnastone directly south.

Stretton Grandison is a village and parish in west Herefordshire, on the A417, north west of  Ledbury
leading to  Bodenham in the north west.
Besides Stretton Grandison, administration is shared in a Group Parish Council with the
nearby parishes of Eggleton, Castle Frome and Canon Frome.
All these are in the Herefordshire council ward of Three Crosses, but here the latter two are
represented by the  Bishop's Frome category.
