Long Bennington is a parish in  South Kesteven on the border of Lincolnshire with Nottinghamshire,
north of  Bottesford in Vale of Belvoir, Leicestershire.
The A1 dual carriageway passes through the parish, after bypassing  Grantham from the south, to bypass  Newark-on-Trent to the north,
The village stretches along the west bank of the River Witham, which forms the parish boundary
with Westborough and Dry Donnington to the east.
To the north, the South Kesteven parish of Claypole straddles the River Witham to the county boundary.
Until there are sufficient websites to justify a separate category, besides Long Bennington, this category lists
websites for the parishes west of Claypole, Westborough and Dry Donnington.
whereas websites for Stubton to the west, and north are represented by the  Fenton category.
To the east, the River Witham has the South Kesteven parish of Hougham is on the north bank and Foston is south.
Websites for further south east should be listed in the  Allington category.
