Long Bennington

Long Bennington is a parish in South Kesteven on the border of Lincolnshire with Nottinghamshire,: north of Bottesford in Vale of Belvoir, Leicestershire.
The A1 dual carriageway passes through the parish, after bypassing Grantham from the south, to bypass Newark-on-Trent to the north,
The village stretches along the west bank of the River Witham, which forms the parish boundary: with Westborough and Dry Donnington to the east.
To the north, the South Kesteven parish of Claypole straddles the River Witham to the county boundary.
