Bathurst is situated in Gloucester County, in the mouth of Nepisiguit Bay of Chaleur Bay, on Highway 11, between Caraquet and Dalhousie.

Bathurst is the seat of Gloucester County. The economy is based on fishing, mining, the manufacture of forest products, and tourism. French and English are spoken equally. Once occupied by the Mi'kmaq, the site was settled by the French missionary Father Bernardine Sebastien in 1619. The community was originally called Nepisiguit and then changed to Saint Peters. It kept that name until 1826, when the present name was adopted in honor of the British statesman Henry Bathurst, 3rd Earl Bathurst.

Founded in 1780, the Village of Cap-Pelé thrives on fishing and fish processing. Smoked herring processed in this village accounts for 95% of the total production in Atlantic Canada. Cap-Pelé is rich in Acadian heritage and offers a wide range of cultural and recreational activities. Cape Tormentine

Dalhousie

Dieppe

Dieppe is situated in Westmorland County on the outskirts of Moncton on Highway 108, above Chartersville.

Digdequash

Digdequash is situated in Charlotte County on Highway 127 East, between Bocabec and St. George, on Passamaquoddy Bay.

Dipper Harbour

Dipper Harbour is situated in Saint John County on Highway 790 between Chance Harbour and Maces Bay, east of the city of Saint John.

Doaktown

Doaktown is situated in Northumberland County on Highway 8 between Blissfield and Storeytown. The first European people in this area were French. They fled up the Miramichi River to escape exile by the British who had gained supremacy during the latter part of the 17th century. They formed an encampment and many implements and old French coins were found here around the beginning of the twentieth century. However the French people left when peace was restored between the French and the British. The first Europeans to actually settle in Doaktown were a certain Mr. Davis and his sister.

Douglas

Douglas is situated in York County on the eastern outskirts of Fredericton, on Highway 105, on the north shore of the Saint John River.

Drummond

Drummond is situated in Victoria County, just below Grand Falls on Highway 108, north of New Denmark.

Dundee

Dundee is situated in Restigouche County between Dalhousie and Campbellton, on Highway 280.

Eastern Charlotte

Eastern Charlotte was incorporated on January 1, 2023 via the amalgamation of the former town of St. George and the former village of Blacks Harbour as well as the concurrent annexation of adjacent unincorporated areas. St. George was founded by Peter Clinch in the 1700s. The town may be best known for the quality of the granite cut from the large hills in the region. This Red Granite is reputed to be the best quality in the world and has been used in several historical land marks such as the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and many Cathedrals throughout the world.

Edmundston

Edmunston is situated in Madawaska County on Highway 144 between Saint-Basile and Saint-Jacques, along the Saint John River. It is just opposite the border with Maine and Quebec.

Eel River Bar First Nation

Eel River Bar First Nation is situated in Restigouche County, near Balmoral, between Dalhousie and Campbellton, at Eel River Crossing.

Evandale

Evandale is situated in Kings County on Highway 102 between Oak Point and Hampstead, where the St John river enters Long Reach.

Exmoor

Exmoor is situated in Northumberland County, on Route 425 between Sevogle and Sunny Corner, on the Northwest Miramichi River.

Florenceville-Bristol

Florenceville-Bristol is situated in Carleton County on the Trans Canada Highway number 2 between Bristol and Centreville, along the St. John River.

Fox Creek

Fox Creek is situated in Westmorland County, south of Moncton on Highway 106, along the Petitcodiac River below St-Anselme.

Fredericton

Grandbay-Westfield is situated in Saint John County near Irving Nature Park. The town was incorporated in 1998, and is comprised of the former Town of Grand Bay and the former Village of Westfield. Grand Bay-Westfield is located in southwestern New Brunswick along the River Valley Scenic Drive, one of the provincially designated scenic routes. It has access to the provincial highway system on Route 177 and Route 7.

Grand Falls

Grand Falls is situated in Victoria County, on Highway 144 between Saint-Leonard and Perth-Andover, on the Saint John River.

Grand Lake

Grand Lake was incorporated on January 1, 2023 via the amalgamation of the former villages of Minto and Chipman as well as the concurrent annexation of adjacent unincorporated areas. Chipman is a community in Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada. It held village status prior to 2023 and is now part of the village of Grand Lake.

Grand Manan Island
