Burn-Up!, Burn-Up W, and Burn-Up Excess are a three separate, yet related science fiction/male fanservice anime. Burn-Up! is the original anime, only one episode long. Burn-Up W is a barely-related OVA spin off of that series, while Burn-Up Excess is a television sequel to Burn-Up W. All three series revolve around young women in the near future wearing body armor with lots of action.
