Arts Animation Cartoons Titles B Big Guy and Rusty The Boy Robot
2
Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, characters created by Frank Miller, made the transition from Dark Horse Comics and received their own cartoon series in 1999. It is the story of little robot hero-in-training Rusty, who looks a little like Astroboy and is voiced by Pamela Segall (Bobby on King of the Hill.) Rusty's hero is The Big Guy, a huge retro-looking robot who, unknown to Rusty, is operated by a man inside him. One season of this charming show was produced, but unfortunately, it appears that Fox never even allowed the entire season to air.
