Karnataka is a Welsh group in the rock/celtic rock style.
Formed in 1996 - the lineup is Rachel Jones (vocals), Ian Jones (bass and guitar), Jonathan Edwards (keys), Paul Davies (guitar), and Gavin Griffiths (drums), and (more recently) Anne-Marie Helder (flute, vocals).
The band is named after the state of Karnataka in South India.
