Peter Davison - British actor, 13th April 1951, Streatham, London. Studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama, then after his first job at the Nottingham Playhouse, worked in a variety of different repertory companies around the UK, often in Shakespearean roles. TV work includes Tristan in the BBC's 'All Creatures Great and Small', 'The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' (1981), and as the fifth doctor in BBC's 'Dr Who' (1981-84).
