Anthony Geary, born Tony Dean Geary on May 29,1947 in Coalsville, Utah, was an American actor, who lived many of his last years in The Netherlands, and married Claudio Gama in 2019. He was best known for his roles in "The Young and Restless" (1973, George Curtis), "You Can't Hurry Love" (1988, Tony), and "General Hospital" (on and off since 1978 as Luke Spencer; the character who died off-screen in 2022 after Geary retiredfromacting.).

Geary's second professional role was in 1971 on the sitcom "All in the Family" which featured Rob Reiner. Reiner also died (murdered) on Dec 14, 2025. Geary's role as Luke in "General Hospital" featured his wedding to the character Laura (Genie Francis), and was the highest-rated soap opera episode of all time.
