Public Radio is an informational, educational, and entertainment medium not dedicated to turning a profit. Instead, it provides programming that is a service to the community and that is not available elsewhere.
The structure of this category and its sub categories is roughly as follows. Local public radio stations and radio show web sites sit in the main directory, with international, national, or regional networks getting their own sub categories. As times goes on, should the number of local stations become unwieldy, a separate sub category should be created for them.
