"Harsh Realm" was a short-lived show created by "X-Files" mastermind Chris Carter, loosely based on a comic book of the same name by James Hudnall and Andrew Paquette. The show premiered on Fox on October 8, 1999, but was canceled after three episodes. Eight more episodes that were shot before cancellation later aired on cable channel FX.
