Created in the mid-1980s, Snugglebumms was distributed by Playskool - a Milton Bradley Company at the time, bought by Hasbro in 1984. Although not a cartoon, there were a few series of toys and games based on the characters. They were distributed internationally under different names - Knuffelbunt in Germany, Les Bum-Bum in France, and other countries TroelieWoelies or Cuchi-Cuchis.
