Mountain that dominates the 28,000 acre tropical forest, located in the rugged Sierra de Luquillo, 40 km southeast of San Juan.

For the Taino indians, the Luquillo Mountain Range was a sacred place. The word "Yuke" means white lands in reference to the mountain tops which are usually covered by clouds.
