The Riga Planning Region is an administrative subdivision of Latvia.
The Riga Region covers the territory and uses the administrative boundaries of the now defunct districts of Latvia: Limbaži, Ogre, Riga and Tukums as well as the cities of Riga and Jūrmala. As of 6 June 2009 the region consist of 28 municipalities and 2 cities with a total area of 10,132 km².
