The Herefordshire parish Craswall is to the south of  Cusop on the border of Wales south east of  Hay-on-Wye
The western boundary is the Black Mountains' ridge separating Llanidon on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The parish is rich in springs and waterfalls that feed the River Monnow to the south east, where it is joined by Olchon Brook in Llanveynor parish, directly south before the border with Monmouthshire north of  Abergavenny.
