Crystal Beach was for a long time known for its summer cottages, many of them owned by Americans who travelled across from Buffalo and other upstate New York locations. It also attracted innumerable tourists and featured a very popular roller coaster that was dismantled only a few years ago.
Nowadays it looks somewhat careworn, but some planned development (on the old roller coaster site) is expected to bring it back into the public eye.
Municipally, it forms part of the Town of Fort Erie.
Its sites will be indexed alphabetically until their numbers make subcategories necessary.
