The town of Clear Lake, in western Sherburne County, Minnesota, surrounds the city of Clear Lake. Clear Lake Township is bounded on the north by Haven and Palmer Townships, and on the east by Becker Township. The Mississippi River is the town line on the southwest. Directly across the river are St. Cloud, Lynden Township, Clearwater (city and township), and Silver Creek Township.
