The town of Hickman is located about 15 miles south of Lincoln, Nebraska and near Salt Creek. The population is around 1000 people. Local attractions include Stagecoach and Wagon Train state parks that are close by. The town produces a yearly Hay Day festival with folk music, games and contests.
