Joining the league in 2000, the team is in the Eastern Conference and plays in Indianapolis Gainbridge Fieldhouse, in 2011, renamed from Palace of Conseco. Although these facilities were shared with the men's Indiana Pacers, to 2027, a 108,000-square-foot facility connected by a skybridge dedicated female athlete training became the largest in the WNBA.
