  • Sites intended for a general audience may be accepted in Kids_and_Teens provided they are appropriate for individuals ages 18 and under.

  • Sites containing chat rooms, discussion forums, or any other interactive content will be listed only if the interactive content complies with Kids and Teens guidelines.

  • Sites must not be under construction, submitted to multiple or inappropriate subcategories, or offer online sales. Note that commercial sites may possibly be added by editor discretion if they offer significant non-commercial content, but suggesting them here is very likely to lead to deletion without review.
  • If you believe your site complies with these guidelines, you are welcome to suggest it once to the single most appropriate category, but remember,

    Do not suggest sites about bands and artists offering to play events for hire, they will not be listed here.

    E-zines and online versions of magazines which would be of interest to children or teens and which focus on bands and artists, celebrities, movies, comics, cartoons, radio, television, or other parts of the entertainment industry.
    Submit magazines and e-zines which are aimed at kids under fourteen. Only magazines and e-zines sites with substantial free current content should be submitted to Kids and Teens. If your magazine is not entertainment orientated, please take a look at Kids_and_Teens/News/Magazines_and_E-zines and see if your site might be better placed there or in one of the other categories listed there. We do not accept sites which advertise magazines in any of these categories or anywhere in the Kids and Teens directory. If your site aims to sell a magazine you will have to look elsewhere for a place to submit it.
    This category is for non-animated feature films classified as suitable for children under 18 years of age.
    Please check the subcategories under Titles and submit your site there if appropriate. If your site concerns an animated movie, it belongs here instead.

    Sites about television that are for teens or kids.
    PLEASE do not submit "Shopping Sites" to any Kids category.

    No site is guaranteed placement in the Open Directory, any site still under construction, is submitted to multiple inappropriate categories, uses multiple URL''s for multiple submissions, that consists primarily of affiliate links to products, or is a just "cookie cutter front door" store, will be deleted.
