Bottesford is the most northern parish in Leicestershire in the Vale of Belvoir, within the Borough of Melton.
The main conurbation is north of the A52 between  Grantham, Lincolnshire in the east,
and  Bingham in Nottinghamshire to the west.
The parish stretches south beyond the Grantham Canal to the parish boundary with Redmile, which
is represented by the  Belvoir category.
To the south east is the county boundary is with the  South Kesteven parish of Woolsthorpe by Belvoir,
south of Sedgebrook, represented by the  Allington category, directly east of Bottesford.
